New project SAURON started! With a grant from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and the participation of the Galician R&D Center for Advanced Telecom., Gradiant.
Gsertel has started the development of a new project called SAURON, that has a grant from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and the participation of the Galician R&D Center for Advanced Telecommunications, Gradiant.
The main objective of the SAURON project is the design, implementation and verification of a distributed system for monitoring and analysis of quality parameters, at different levels of the broadcast network, prepared for its operation in a broadcast / cellular convergence scenario (ATSC 3.0 / 5G transmission).
In this way, the foundations will be laid for the broadcast network to advance towards the paradigms established for 5G and beyond 5G networks (beyond 5G), for which it is proposed to achieve autonomous, predictive and adaptable networks to the environment through advanced monitoring systems, anomaly detection, prediction and automation and abstraction techniques in the network management plane.
