Interesting presentation by Bruno Cigrovski, Head of the Radiocommunications Department at OIV from Croatia, one of our valued clients, within the framework of the "DAB+ planning, measurement, and monitoring" seminar organized by World DAB, that took place in Geneva on March 20th at the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) facilities.
The measurement of key parameters (Power, C/N, FIC/MSC MER/BER, Pre/Post Echoes, SFN Drift, etc.) is crucial when evaluating the quality of DAB radio services and networks. For this purpose, OIV has relied on Gsertel and its portable analyzer Hexylon, allowing them to efficiently and accurately measure in any scenario. With features such as "Drive Test," they can create coverage maps with geo-positioned measurements, thus resolving issues affecting their clients.
